Ingredients and Substitutions;
- 2 under-ripe Avocados, pitted, peeled and cut into 11 avocado wedges.
- ½ Cup of All Purpose Flour - If you are going for Vegan avocado fries use Almond Flour and you can omit the eggs and dip in Aquafaba.
- 2 Eggs Beaten
- 1 Cup of Panko Breadcrumbs - If you are going Keto use 1 Cup of crushed Pork Rinds
- Freshly Ground Pepper or Cayenne Pepper if you like it Spicy
- Cooking Spray
How to make this recipe:
1: Preheat Air Fryer to 390 Degrees F
2: Place flour, egg wash and Panko breadcrumbs in separate bowls. Season each with Salt and Pepper or Cayenne...or just use your favorite condiments for Flavor.
3: Dust the Avocado Wedges in the Flour, shaking off the excess. Dip in the Beaten Egg and then dip in the Panko mixture.
4: Spritz the Air-Fryer Basket with Olive Oil spray and then arrange the Battered Avocado Fries in a single layer in the Air Fryer Basket then give them a Spritz of the Olive Oil Cooking Spray.
5: Cook for 8-10 minutes, turning after 5 minutes, until Golden Brown and Crispy. Remove from the Air Fryer and serve immediately. Use your favorite dipping sauce. I love chipotle mayo or ranch dressing,

- When placing your avocado slices in the air fryer basket do not overcrowd. It is important to leave some space so that the air can circulate for optimum crisping.
- You can slice your avocado into thin slices instead of wedges to make keto avocado chips in the air fryer.
Baked avocado fries have about 3.5 net carbs per serving. Making them the perfect ketogenic snack.
You can turn one Avocado into about 11 slices. Each slice breaded an Air Fried is about 30 calories, so a great Low Calorie treat!
It takes 8-10 minutes to make air fried avocado fries.
To re heat just place in your air fryer basket at 360 degrees F for 2 minutes.
How do I make my Avocado Fries Keto?
If you want to make your Avocado Fries Keto Friendly swap your breading. Your typical Baked Avocado Fries Recipe uses traditional Panko Breadcrumbs.
To make Baked Avocado Fries Keto use crushed Pork Rinds instead of Panko Breadcrumbs as the coating.
Just break out your Mini Ninja Chopper and add in the Pork Rinds give it a couple of pulses and you will have perfect Keto Breadcrumbs.
What can I use to make Low Carb Breadcrumbs?
How do I make Keto Breadcrumbs?
You have 2 options. Hopefully you have a Mini Kitchen Chopper like the Mini Ninja. Take a handful of the pork rinds and place them in your kitchen chopper and give it a couple of pulse’s and you will have instant Keto friendly breadcrumbs.
If you do not own a kitchen chopper yet you can take a handful of your pork rinds and place them in a ziplock bag and crush them with your hands to make your Low Carb Breadcrumbs.
What do Pork Rind Breadcrumbs Taste Like?
They taste like the most flavorful Panko Breadcrumbs..crunchy..crispy…cracklin goodness!!
How can I make Avocado Fries Vegan?
If you want to make a Vegan Air Fryer Avocado Fries just give your Avocado slices of spritz of Olive Oil instead of dipping in egg wash and then coat in your Panko Breadcrumbs.

You sure can. I tried a batch fried in Olive Oil and they came out just as tasty...but they will be higher in calories preparing this way.
