Ingredients needed and substitutions:
Fresh Fish Fillets - For this air fryer breaded fish recipe we used Tilapia. You can swap with any kind of fish fillet. The best fish is a flaky fish like sea bass, mahi mahi, cod, striped bass, or even flounder.
Potato Flakes - Potato flakes are basically instant mashed potatoes - you can just grab a package of Idahoan classic instant mashed potatoes at the grocery store to use for your breading.
Fresh Herbs - Fresh Dill and Parsley were used to season these crispy fish fillets.
How to Make this Easy Air Fryer Fish Recipe
1: In a medium bowl Combine the light mayonnaise, chopped parsley, chopped dill, garlic powder, salt and pepper - mix well.
2: Pat your fish fillets dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture and preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.
3: Coat both sides of each fish fillet with the mayo mix.
4: In a shallow bowl dredge the fish fillets in the potato flakes.
5: Spritz your air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray and place your fish fillets in the preheated air fryer. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
6: Remove from air fryer and serve immediately. Enjoy!
