I am pleased to introduce a healthy gluten free Snickers bar recipe made with dates that is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth without compromising your health.
This homemade recipe is an excellent choice for those who are looking for a healthier alternative to store-bought candy bars.

Gluten Free Snickers Bar
Dates are the key ingredient in this recipe, and they offer a variety of health benefits.
They are rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals such as potassium and magnesium, which can help improve digestion, boost energy levels, and support overall health.
The best part about this recipe is that it is a no-bake recipe, making it easy and convenient to make. All you need are a few simple ingredients, including dates, almond butter, nuts, chocolate, and sea salt.
The dates are sliced down the middle to create a sweet and sticky base, which is then mixed with almond butter and nuts to create a crunchy and satisfying filling. The bars are then topped with melted chocolate and a sprinkle of sea salt for a delicious finish.
One of the significant advantages of making your own Snickers bars is that you can control the ingredients and portion size. These bars are also gluten-free, making them a suitable option for those with gluten sensitivities or celiac disease.
Additionally, they are low in added sugar, making them a healthier alternative to traditional candy bars.

Ingredients needed and Substitutions for Gluten-Free Snickers Bars

Nuts - For this recipe I used Walnuts and Brazil Nuts which fit perfectly inside the date. Pecans works great also but feel free to use your favorite.
Organic Dates - Organic pitted dates work the best for this healthy snickers recipe.
Nut Butter - Justin's Vanilla Almond Butter was my go to for these paleo candy bars. If you don't like almond butter try Justin's Gluten Free Peanut Butter Spread.
Sea Salt - Celtic Sea Salt is the best. Le Saunier De Camargue Fleur De Sel would be my next choice if Celtic is not in stock.
Chocolate Chips - You can use Toll House Chocolate chips or for less sugar use Lily's chocolate chips.
