Description

I am pleased to introduce a healthy gluten-free Snickers bar recipe made with dates that is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth without compromising your health.

This homemade recipe is an excellent choice for those who are looking for a healthier alternative to store-bought candy bars.


Ingredients

  • 16 Organic Pitted Dates
  • 1 cup of Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 cup of Nuts ( Brazil, Walnut or Pecan)
  • 1/2 cup Vanilla Almond Butter or Peanut Butter
  • Pinch of Sea Salt


Instructions

  1. Melt - Melt 1 cup of chocolate chips in the microwave in a microwave safe bowl for about 45 seconds and mix well.
  2. Slice - Grab a pitted date and make a slice down the middle and gently open the date to expose the pocket. Insert a nut in the pocket you just created in the date.
  3. Spread - Cover your Brazil nut or walnut with a spread of nut butter.
  4. Dredge - Dredge your stuffed date in the melted chocolate.
  5. Freeze - Place your chocolate coated date onto a pan lined with parchment paper and sprinkle with sea salt. Place your tray in the freezer for 30 minutes - remove and serve so yummy!!
