Recipe FAQ's
Roasted Vegetable Salad: Prepare a vibrant salad using a variety of colorful roasted vegetables. Chop vegetables like bell peppers, zucchini, eggplant, cherry tomatoes, and red onions into bite-sized pieces. Toss them with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper, then roast in the oven until they are tender and slightly caramelized. Serve the roasted vegetables on a bed of mixed greens and drizzle with a light vinaigrette dressing.
To make a simple vinaigrette dressing, whisk together 2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil, 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar, 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard, a pinch of salt, and freshly ground black pepper.
This roasted vegetable salad will provide a fresh and flavorful contrast to the crispy air-fried toasted ravioli, while adding nutritional value to the meal. Remember to keep the portion sizes in check to align with your Weight Watchers plan.
Use a wire rack: After toasting the ravioli, place them on a wire rack instead of a flat surface. This allows air to circulate around the ravioli, preventing them from becoming soggy due to trapped steam. When getting close to serving time preheat your over to 200 degrees F - Warm in the oven: Place them on a baking sheet covered with foil in the preheated oven. The low temperature will keep them warm without causing them to become soggy or overcooked.
Yes you can just be mindful of the serving size. Stick to recommended portions and avoid excessive servings. A typical serving size is around ½ to 1 cup of cooked pasta. Pair pasta with lean protein and pay attention to your hunger and fullness cues. Eat slowly and savor each bite. This can help you feel satisfied with smaller portions and prevent overeating. Additionally, combining pasta with regular physical activity and a healthy lifestyle will optimize your weight loss efforts.
