This easy homemade jalapeño salsa uses minimal ingredients, minimal effort, and has maximum flavor.
Do you love a spicy salsa that tastes amazing and have a spare 5 minutes? If the answer is "Yes" then this jalapeño salsa with cilantro recipe is perfect for you.

Homemade Jalapeno Salsa
I have been trying to stay away from certain processed foods as much as possible as they tend to have large amounts of added sodium and sugar which we all know is not good for our Health or Waistline.
The typical store bought Salsa has about 250 Mg of Sodium for only 2 Tablespoons which is not much Salsa when you are dipping. No one needs that much salt!
If you use store bought Salsa and scoop like me you can ingest your daily recommended amount of Sodium with one little snack....not good, take 5 minutes out of your day and make your own. I promise it is worth it!

Since my summer garden usually produces lots of veggies I am able to go outside and pick my own tomatoes right off the vine. Usually also a handful of Jalapeno Peppers and Fresh Cilantro.
If you don't have a Vegetable Garden no worries, just head over to the produce aisle of your favorite supermarket or local farmers market to pick up the Fresh Veggies you will need.
No time this week to make your own homemade salsa just grab a jar of Frontera's Jalapeno Cilantro Salsa from Amazon...it's not homemade but it is a really good option when you are short on time.
It is really fun to plant your own Salsa Garden and be able to pick your own Ingredients. If you don't have one think about planting one.
Even if you don't have a yard you can get a couple of flower pots and make a little container garden on a small patio or even on a windowsill.
For some reason food tastes so much better when the Ingredients were grown by you and and harvested by you, I cannot explain it.

I’ve made this a few times this summer and it always comes out great. I loosely chop the veggies and put it all in a food processor with extra lime juice.
Pam
This was so easy to make and really good thank you.

Do you peal the tomato's? Do you include the tomato seeds?
admin
I do not peel the tomatoes or remove the seeds just chop up the tomato and place the pieces into the Mini Ninja and pulse it. It makes the perfect Salsa.
Barb Sgambato
What about the chips you use. What kind are they and how many can u eat for a couple of points?
admin
Hi Barb I love the Brand Late July Organic Chia Quinoa Chips they are only 4 points on WW for 10 chips and the chips are pretty big and satisfying. I have them in my Shop section under Food I Love if you want to see them.
