The Instant Pot and Cake Decorator are also part of the secret to these little masterpieces.
You would normally have to wait for water to boil and calculate when to remove them from the pot on the stove. Now with the Instant Pot you can have perfect hard boiled eggs in only 7 minutes.

Can I make this Deviled Egg Recipe without an Instant Pot?
Absolutely! If you do not own an Instant Pot you can boil your eggs the traditional way by bringing a pot of water to a boil on your stovetop. Once the water boils reduce the heat to low so that the water is no longer boiling then use a skimmer slotted spoon to gently drop the eggs in the water. Once the eggs are all in the pot increase the heat back to high and let boil for 14 minutes.
How do I Decorate my Deviled Eggs?
To make your deviled eggs look really pretty use a cake decorator. You can buy a pastry injector on Amazon and they are pretty inexpensive. You just add your filling to a zip loc plastic bag and snip off a corner of the bag and use this to squeeze the mixture into your pastry injector...add the decorating tip of choice and fill your eggs.
To make them even fancier use a mini cupcake liner to sit your deviled eggs in for serving.

2 - Bacon Bits
3 - Sesame Seeds
4 - Wasabi Peas or Crush them to make Wasabi Powder

Ingredients Needed for WW Deviled Eggs:
6 Large Eggs - Hard-Boiled
3 Tablespoons of Light Mayonnaise
1 Teaspoon of Dijon Mustard
1 Teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar
Cayenne Pepper to taste if you like it Spicy....I do
Salt & Pepper to taste
For a Festive and Tasty Green version add 1 Avocado smashed to your mix
Paprika for Garnish
Preparation Instructions:
1: Add one cup of water to your Instant Pot - add in your metal grate and place 6 eggs onto the tray - close and lock your lid and place your vent in the sealed position. Pressure cook on high for 7 minutes. Once cooking time is complete and pressure has been released remove eggs and place them in a bowl of cool water to continue cooling before you remove the shells.
If you do not own an Instant Pot you can boil your eggs the traditional way by bringing a pot of water to a boil on your stovetop. Once the water boils reduce the heat to low so that the water is no longer boiling then use a skimmer spoon to gently drop the eggs in the water. Once the eggs are all in the pot increase the heat back to high and let boil for 14 minutes.
After the 14 minutes remove the eggs and place them in a large bowl of ice water to cool.
2: Once your eggs are cooled you can start to remove the outer shell gently so you do not damage the egg - we want them to look pretty!
3: Now that your eggs are without the shell - slice them in half lengthwise and remove the yolks gently with a small spoon. Place the yolks in a separate bowl. Then place your eggs white on a separate plate.
4: Smash your yolks with the tines of a fork and add in your Mayonnaise, Mustard, Apple Cider Vinegar, Salt, Pepper and Cayenne if you want them spicy. Or if you are trying the Avocado Version just add in the Avocado Pulp with the yolks and smash all together.
5: Use a spoon to add in the mixture to each egg white shell. To make them look beautiful use a Cake Decorator.
Recipe FAQ's:
Now WW Deviled egg has 0.5 grams of carbs, that is less that 1 gram per deviled egg making this the perfect appetizer for caveman keto and diabetic friendly.
One healthy deviled egg has about 120 calories. Low in fat and carbs makes them perfect for a keto diet.
You can freeze the “deviled” mixture you put inside the eggs, but you cannot freeze the egg whites. The whites become extremely tough and rubbery when frozen, and they'll release a lot of water if you try to thaw them.
You can eat refrigerated deviled eggs within 4 days, according to the USDA, but you should aim to eat them within 2 days for optimal freshness. Once you take them out of the fridge, you should serve them within 2 hours.

Expert Tips and Recipe Ideas
- Begin with perfect hard-boiled eggs. Place eggs in a pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a rolling boil, then turn off the heat, cover, and let sit for 10-12 minutes. Then, transfer eggs to an ice bath to stop the cooking process and ensure easy peeling.
- Peel eggs under cold running water to help remove shells cleanly and easily.
- Slice eggs lengthwise and carefully remove yolks, keeping the white halves intact.
- For the egg yolk mixture, combine yolks with room temperature sour cream and cream cheese for a creamy texture and rich flavor.
- Add a dash of hot sauce for a kick and a squeeze of lime or lemon juice for brightness.
- Incorporate healthy fats by using avocado mayonnaise or olive oil-based mayo in place of traditional mayonnaise.
- For a classic keto twist, mix in a dollop of spicy mustard for added flavor depth.
- Fold in a tablespoon of pickle relish for a tangy crunch that complements the creamy base.
- Season the egg yolk mixture with black pepper and a sprinkle of paprika for a pop of color and flavor.
- Crisp up some bacon until it's nice and crunchy, then crumble it to add a savory crunch on top of your deviled eggs.
- Blend the egg yolk mixture until smooth and creamy, ensuring no lumps remain for the perfect consistency.
- Chill the egg yolk mixture in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Fill the egg white halves with the chilled yolk mixture using a piping bag or a spoon for a neat presentation.
- Store deviled eggs in an airtight container in the refrigerator to keep them fresh and prevent them from absorbing other odors.
- Garnish with a sprinkle of paprika and chopped chives for an elegant finishing touch.
- Serve deviled eggs as a perfect snack or appetizer for gatherings or enjoy them as a satisfying low-carb snack throughout the week.
- For a zesty twist, experiment with different toppings such as diced jalapenos or chopped cilantro.
- If you prefer firmer yolks, reduce the boiling time by a minute or two.
- Experiment with different variations like adding diced avocado or shredded cheese to the yolk mixture for added creaminess and flavor.
- Enjoy leftover deviled eggs by mashing them up and turning them into a keto egg salad, perfect for sandwiches or lettuce wraps.
