Coconut sugar has a lower glycemic index than regular sugar and is one of the most nutritious sugars. Use it when making healthier sweet treats like cookies or muffins.
Using coconut sugar is quite similar to cooking and baking with brown sugar. It has a light but distinctive flavor, close to brown sugar or molasses. The only difference is that it will make your batter brown.
Coconut sugar is not inflammatory. It is a plant-based, anti-inflammatory sweetener, that has a low-glycemic index, meaning our bodies absorb the sugars at a slower rate. It is also rich in amino acids that help to support our metabolism, B Vitamins, and is rich in various vitamins and minerals such as iron, zinc, calcium and potassium.
- Use high-quality chocolate chips for the best taste.

- Try adding different mix-ins, such as nuts, dried fruit, or shredded coconut, to vary the flavor of the cookies.
- Store the cookies in an airtight container to keep them fresh and soft.
