Description

Air Fried Donuts...Low Cal...Low Fat and Delicious. Two ingredients are all you need for these easy air fryer vegan donuts. These healthy vegan donuts bake up in only 6 minutes in the air fryer. Finish them with a dash of powdered sugar or a light sugary glaze for the perfect low calorie dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Spray Olive Oil
  • 1 Canister of Baby Grand Biscuits
  • Donuts toppings - pick your favorite - sprinkle, powdered sugar, chocolate, coconut

Instructions

  1. Prep - Take the Biscuits out and place them on a cutting board and find something to cut out the hole in the middle to make the donut hole...I used a shot glass to punch out the donut hole but if you don't have one try a small glass.
  2. Bake - Spray your Air Fryer basket with a coating of olive oil and place 4 donuts in the tray well spaced depending on the size of the airfryer. Set temp to 350 F and ~3 minutes on the timer, flip and cook another 3 minutes, or until golden and soft . Repeat until you have finished all of your donuts rings. Don't forget to use the donuts holes as they make great Pop-Um's, aka munchkins.
  3. Toppings - While the donuts are cooking, the fun really starts...get creative with the toppings.
  4. Toppings - I made a quick sugary glaze by heating some water and confectioners sugar. I Dipped some donuts in the glaze then added sprinkles, both rainbow and chocolate.
  5. Melt - I also melted chocolate chips and dipped donuts in the melted chocolate set on a wire rack and added coconut flakes.
  6. Glaze - For a powdered sugar donut just pour some confectioners sugar in a zip lock bag and toss the donut in the bag right after you dip in the sugar glaze, or plain, give the bag a good shake and voila, a delightful sweet treat.
