Batter dipped and Air Fried, these Crowd Pleasing Cauliflower Bites are the perfect Low Calorie snack or side dish. Add a little Hot Sauce on the side makes it even better!


Units Scale
  • 3/4 cup of Almond Flour, Plus a little extra for dusting
  • 1 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon of Onion Powder
  • 1 Pinch of Paprika
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Chili Powder
  • 1 Pinch of Red Pepper Flakes..if you like some spice
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup of Almond Milk
  • 1/2 cup of Water
  • 1 Head of Cauliflower, cut into florets
  • Cooking Spray
  • Note: You can use your favorite seasonings if you are not a fan of the ones listed for this recipe - cauliflower is a pretty neutral base and can be made to taste however you like.


  1. Pre heat - Pre heat Air Fryer to 360 Degrees F
  2.  Combine - Stir together Almond Flour, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Paprika, Red Pepper Flakes and Pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Mix - Gradually whisk in Almond Milk then water with your Flour and Spice mixture until your batter is smooth and lump free.
  4. Coating - Dust Cauliflower Florets with some Almond Flour, shaking off excess. Drop into the Batter to coat, turning so the entire floret is coated.
  5. Assemble - Spray Air Fryer basket with cooking spray.  Arrange battered cauliflower in the Air Fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook - Cook for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crisp, gently shaking basket a few times during cooking. You can cook an extra 5-10 minutes if you like them super crispy.
  7. Cool - Remove from Air Fryer and let cool briefly before serving.
